It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!Hi all,
So sorry I have not been updating this! It has been way too long! Here's something new for you all to read. I'll try to get on here more often.
Life has been so crazy! I meant to write a new blog sooner but I just haven't had the energy. First, I'll tell all about the Fall Festival with my best friend. Then I'll share details of my week.
Ok, for starters, I had chosen to wear a long black dress of mine so I could be Emily Dickinson for the Fall Festival. The straps are a bit too long so I needed my grandmother to adjust them for me. David was already planning to go up to see her on Saturday so I figured I'd send the dress with him. Well, I ended up just going with him and Julie. My grandmother wasn't home, however, and while I was there I started feeling sick. I was having horrible cramps and ended up borrowing a Therma Care heating pad from an aunt who lives there also. We waited a little while longer but I felt so bad that I decided I wasn't gonna wear the dress so we left to go home.
We got home and Julie filled the bath tub with hot water. I grabbed some clean clothes and swallowed a pain pill. Then, I took a 5 min hot bath while trying to eat a cheeseburger from Wendy's. Once I got out, I went to bed to take a nap. By then, I decided I wasn't even gonna go to my best friend's and was trying to get up the nerve to call and tell her. An hour later, I changed my mind and got up to pack my clothes and find another outfit to wear since I did not feel like wearing a dress. My final choice: a cute western shirt and fitted jeans. (Check profile for pics of me in my costume. There are four located on the 'view more pics' page.)
So...Nicki and I spent the afternoon together and then her mom took us to church. There were games and tables set up everywhere for the kids. It was really neat! One place had a table with icing and sprinkles to decorate cookies with. Another place was set up for "pin the nose on the scarecrow" and close by was a moon walk. There was also a table to face painting and one game with candles that were lit and you had to use water guns to spray them until the fire was out. We had a booth set up for "fishing" and a row of three pumpkins that you had to toss hula-hoops over. I had my still and video cameras with me so I filmed off and on through the whole visit.
Nicki and I were in charge of supervising the kids in the moon walk. We also spent time walking around visiting with friends and we also joined in a cake walk. (Neither of us won anything. Haha!) Finally, it was time to eat. There was so much food! Hotdogs, chips, chili, coleslaw...the works. Cakes, brownies, rice krispy treats, banana pudding and so much more for desert. YUM! Nicki and I sat on the back of the "hay ride" to eat our food. Her dad came over and sat on the seat of the tractor and all the kids thought we were going on a hay ride then...but we were just eating. We did go on a hay ride later, though and I video taped about half of it. It was so cool. Nicki sat next to me near the back of the ride.
After we got back from the hay ride, we sat around the fire and talked. Nicki's dad and our youth leader, Jared, took turns playing guitar and singing songs. I listened for a while and video taped part of their "performance". After a while longer, we left to go home. Nicki and I went to bed early and got up around 8am on Sunday morning to get ready for church. After church, we ate at Wendy's for lunch. Then went back to the house to hang out...but I ended up falling asleep in her room and didn't wake up until Nicki came in to tell me that Julie was there to pick me up. SORRY, NICKI! Anyway, that was my weekend and now to tell you about my week so far.
Monday was a blurr. Tuesday, I went out with one of my bosses to fill out applications in an attempt to get a full-time job in a photo lab somewhere. The job training program I am in at right now ends on Novembver 29, so I need to secure a job soon or I will be spending too much time at home and not making any money. YIKES! I had to completely redo my resume because she didn't like it. Then I had to fill out an online application for Walgreens only to find out she misunderstood and it was supposed to be CVS. So, I ended up filling out an online application to CVS later as well. We were late leaving for our day out and only stopped at Eckard and Wolf Camera to fill out applications so I felt like I didn't get enough done but she's taking me out again next week so maybe we'll be able to get more done then. I also have to fill out an application at Walmart between now and then. Boy, it's hard work just trying to get a job!
Wednesday was also kind of a blurr. But today...was AWSOME! This morning, when I got over to my job at a local pizza place, I got to prepare my favorite pizza! 15 potato pizzas were made by ME! How cool is that?! It was so much fun! Then, I was cleaning a few display signs when the manager offered me a whopper from Burger King. I got to stop and eat then I went back to work only to see someone else walk in with three boxes of Krispy Kreme doughnuts! OHHHHH! (I got two. One lemon filled and one raspberry filled. YUM! They are spoiling me!) Then, around 1:00pm, I was told that I could stop and take lunch. I finished what I was doing and took lunch around 1:30pm. I get free lunches there so I grabbed a plate and filled it up. Since I had the whopper earlier, I was only able to eat 3 slices of pizza today but I had 9 slices on Monday! When I finished lunch, I took my tray back to the kitchen and cleaned up. A few coworkers were in back eating sliced cuccumbers with hot sauce. I tried one and have to admit it was really good...even though I was full. I was grinning for the rest of the day and even chatted a bit with the driver who picks me up and takes me to and from work.
Last thing now. I have recieve half of my new BIG investment and the other half has been ordered. I should get it sometime next week. Of course, I will not be going out tonight because 1: I am broke and 2: I don't have all of my new toy to show off to my friends. So, I am debating on whether I want to spill my secret now...or make everyone wait another month to find out. Hmmm...we'll see after I get the rest of it in.
Have cramps today.
Like the sound of a flute.

Sunny and pretty warm. One of my best friends came down from Canada. She and her mom needed to go through stuff they had in storage and they stayed with us while they were in town.
Manz and her mom got here late Friday afternoon. We hugged and talked, then went out to Walmart to pick up our dinner (pizza from Papa Murphy's). Most of Friday night was spent talking and visiting. We stayed up pretty late and finally went to bed sometime after midnight.
Saturday, we all went to the mall and walked around for most of the afternoon. Manz and I window shopped mostly but did find some things we wanted. We tried on clothes and shoes until we were all hungry. We decided to stop and eat at the food court but each wanted something different. Julie, Amanda's mom, and my youngest brother had lunch at Jonny Rocket's. Manz and I headed over to eat Thai but after some though settled for Japanese instead. After eating lunch, we all split up again to walk around. We sampled smoothies and tried on more shoes before stopping to get smoothies and icecream. We stayed for a while longer and then left to go home
Sunday, I went with Manz and her mom to the storage but the lock had been changed and we couldn't get in so we just spent the day driving around town and shopping. We had lunch at Cici's and checked out some local stores and then went home by 8pm.
Monday and Tuesday, I had to work. Manz and her mom went back to the storage and spent most all day going through stuff and loading what they wanted to keep into a small U-Hall which they hooked to their car. Monday evening was spent hanging out, talking, and eating a home cooked meal. Tuesday night, us ladies went out to eat at Ryan's and then went to the local dollar theater to see Herbie (Fully Loaded).
At the theater, there was one guy sitting inside. He talked to us for a few min but we tried to ignore him as he was really weird and creepy. The 4 of us all sat near the front. Julie and Amanda's mom sat together. Manz sat next to her mom and I was sitting next to Manz. The movie was so cool! Manz and I sat giggling and screaming through the whole movie. At one point, the guy must have left cause I looked back and he was gone. It was really neat to be the only ones in there cause we could be loud. We both kept cheering for the cute guys in the movie. LOL! I now have a new celebrity crush: Matt Dillon! He's sooo cute!
Anyway, we had a great time. Yesterday, Julie brought Manz and her mom up to my work to say 'good-bye'. One of Amanda's brothers has a baseball game Saturday so they had to get home and it's a long drive to Canada. I am a little disappointed that they had to leave but I plan to go up for a visit of my own as soon as I can afford it.
Last night, I went out to Sweetwater to see if any of my friends came out. I had attempted to arrange a meeting with some of them to introduce my best friend to them but that was before she decided to leave earlier. I figured I should be there incase anyone showed up so I could tell them she had to go home sooner than later. One showed up and even performed 5 songs after visiting with me a few min. I had a good time chatting and listening. THANKS, DAN!
I also left three gifts with him and asked if he would be willing to pass them along to another friend who had a birthday back in July. I had bought the gifts for him but had yet to be given the chance to give them to him so I asked Dan if he would do it for me since he sees this friend more than I do. I hope this friend likes his belated b-day gifts. I can't wait to hear what he thinks of them. (Hint hint!)

Rainy and cloudy today.Hi all,
I have been bouncing back and forth between Atlanta, GA and north Florida. I spent 3 months in FL helping Mama with work. Around the first of June, I came back and stayed until July 10, then went back to FL while Julie went out to California to visit her best friend. She was gone for 2 weeks and from the way she talks, she had a blast.
We had made arrangements for me to come back up here either July 30 or 31. The last week I was in FL, I got a call from Julie saying that my grandfather had been rushed to the hospital. I posted messages and sent emails to all my friends asking for prayer but later, Julie called back and told us that my grandfather had died. Services were held Monday, August 1. It was quite a sad occasion for the family.
During the last week, I have also been working at a new job. I am going through a 20 day program that will hopefully get me a more stable, long-term job. I work Monday-Friday from 9am to 3pm. The rest of the afternoon, I spend resting, checking my email, working on my sites, and surfing the net.
Anyway, there is still more going on but I am going to close this out for now. I'll try to post more often than I have been. Have a great week and God bless everyone!

My paternal grandfather recently had stints put into his arteries last week. He was recovering and seemed to be doing well.
Just a few min ago, my natural mother called from the airport in California and told us that she just heard some bad news.
My grandfather has just been rushed back to the hospital and is on life support! I don't know what the problem is but it is not good! I need your help! Please pray for him.
He is not a christian and although there is some bad blood between sides of my family, I do NOT want him to die! But if he does die, I do NOT want him to die unsaved! I don't know what God's will is but please pray that whatever happens that it is God's will. Pray that either God heal him completely and that he recovers well. Or pray that God save him before he dies. I will praise God no matter which one happens just please, I do NOT want him to go to hell!
This is very, very important. I need all the help I can get. Pass this on to all your friends. I need EVERYONE praying for him. If you are not a christian and don't want to pray, please at least pass this request on to someone you know who will pray.
Please stand with me in faith. This is a life or death situation! Not just physical but spiritual!
Thank you for your help. Let's pray in faith and praise God together in faith.

My grandfather has died. There is nothing that can be done now. I do not know if he accepted Jesus before he died or not. I pray that he did.

Rainy and stormy.Hi all,
Ok, this past weekend was a blast. I spent the whole weekend with my best friend and her family. Julie dropped me off at Nicki's aunt's place on Saturday afternoon. Nicki and I went fishing and played in the creek, then we back to her house for the night. We each got a bath and then settled in for bed. I slept on the top bunk and she slept on the bottom bunk. I had weird dreams all night and didn't sleep well at all.
Sunday morning, we kind of slept in. We ate breakfast and got our things together. We didn't go to church like we normally do. This time we headed back up to Nicki's aunt's to do more fishing and swimming and just hang out. We had sandwitches, hotdogs, and hamburgers for lunch and dinner. I roasted some marshmallows later that night. It rained off and on during the day and some through the night. When the rain slowed down close to 11:00 or 11:30pm, we carried our stuff to the camper and went to bed. I slept good for the most part but got a little cold and I heard every sound from outside so I didn't get much sleep.
Monday morning, Nicki got up long before I did. I think it was just after 5am when she left the camper. I laid around for a while, kind of resting and trying to sleep more. Finally, I looked out the window and saw Nicki out at the lake fishing, so I decided to get up and join her. I didn't have my watch on cause I'd been in the creek the last few days so when I got outside, I had to ask her what time it was. She said 7:30am. Eeek! I am not used to being up that early but it did feel good. I wasn't really that sleepy at all.
We hung out some more, fished and played in the creek again. I kept standing up on the slippery parts and fell several times. The last time around, I fell hard on my butt. That hurt!! But I didn't break anything so I'm ok. Just a little sore from all the hard work..er well, playing, rather. LOL!
Anyway, that was my adventure over the 4th of July. Hope everyone else had as good of a weekend as I did. God bless you all!

Nice but cloudy.Hi all,
I have not written in a while cause I don't really know what to write. I've been busy writing so many things for my other journals but I don't want to post the same thing on every journal. LOL
Shawn and I have been talking on the phone but things are so crazy lately, I've not seen him again. He works such long hours. I don't know how he does it!
I am going back to Florida for three weeks this month. I leave on the 10th and will be coming back on the 30th or 31st. Julie will be going to California during that time to visit a friend of hers. I made her promise to get lots of pics for me.
Charlie has matured alot while I was in Florida. He's doing so well in public now and doesn't bounce half as bad as he used to. He now weighs 102 pounds. BIG DOG!
When I get back from Florida this time around, I will be very busy. I have three different companies I will be working for. Plus, I will be taking the ACT and getting supplies for college. I had planned to start in the fall but it looks like I'm gonna have to wait and apply for spring semester cause there's no way I can be ready by September 5th. Arg! I really wanted to start this year. Oh well. I'm still going though, just a few months later than originally planned.
Anyway, that's about all I have to write at the moment. I did by myself a laptop for my birthday back in May. I don't believe I mentioned that before. I am really enjoying the extra freedom I have with my own computer. LOL!
For now, God bless everyone. Have a great July 4th! Support our troops this Independence Day! (I will be camping out with my best friend this weekend so I may post about that later if I feel like it.)

Rainy out.
Oh, cool! I just got home from my first date a few hours ago. It was so much fun! I've known this guy for about 13 years and he's really cool. I've already started thinking of him as my boyfriend. (Ok, it's not 100% official yet but I'm really hoping it will be soon. I really like him!)
We were gonna go to Ruby Tuesday but ended up just driving around for a while then stopped at some random place to eat. I love mexican food. That's what we finally had for dinner. It was really good.
We sat there and talked for a long time and then we left after he paid the bill. (I hated letting him pay all of it but he wouldn't let me pay for anything. I tried! LOL!)
We thought about getting icecream afterwards but were both so full that there wasn't any room for it. (Maybe next time. I want Rocky Road!)
Anyway, it was so cool! I can't wait to do it again! He's gonna call me tomorrow so anything can happen. By the way, in case you're wondering, he didn't kiss me this time but he did walk me to the door so we'll see what he does next time. Of course, it's sometimes better to take it one step at a time. My first date is over now, so we'll eventually get to my first kiss. (Boy, that'll be awsome!)
Ok, I talked about my date. Now I'll talk about the guy. He's so cool!
His name is Shawn. He's 21 years old. Stands almost 6 feet tall, has dark hair (short crew cut), dark eyes, and dark skin. He lives about an hour from me right now. He's very polite and respectful. Oh and did I mention he was cute? HE IS SO CUTE! (He's cajun so you can just imagine!)
I took my camera but we had so much fun talking about everything that I forgot to get any pics of me and him together. I'll try to remember next time and maybe post a few of them on here.

Feeling good.
Awsome beatbox!
"Happy Birthday"
Cloudy. Chance of rain/storms.Hi all,
Thursday was my birthday. I am now 20 years old. How exciting! LOL Wednesday night, Mama took me out to Shoney's for dinner. Our server brought out a hot fudge cake when I was done eating. It was sooo good!
On my birthday, I went swimming. It was the first time I'd been in a pool since the incident last year. I was a little nervous when I ducked under water but otherwise, I was ok. I got out an inner tube after a while and floated around in the deep end of the pool. I think I stayed in for about 2 hours. I had a really good time.
Today, I'm just resting. I'll go to church in the morning. That will be fun. I really enjoy youth. I'll miss going when I am back in north GA. I'll be able to go out with the youth at Nicki's church sometimes but not every week.
Anyway, there's not much else to say right now. I've been so busy and haven't had much time to write. I'll try to write more later. I have so many other things to do also. I need to get caught up. LOL
For now, have a great weekend and God bless everyone!

"Seasons Of The Soul" by Quinton Mills
Partly cloudy but sunny and hot.Hi all,
As you all know I am a born-again, spirit-filled, non-denominational Christian. This means that I fully oppose the evolution theory and support creationism. I am not a Christian just on Sundays but rather 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I believe in and practice my faith every day that I breathe and will continue to do so for the rest of my physical existance and through my eternal spiritual existance.
As far as I am concerned, Jesus Christ was born to a virgin and walked the earth in physical form over 2,000 years ago. This same Jesus was and is the son of God and he died on a cross for me so that I may be forgiven of sins passed on to me from generations before me.
I believe that this all came to be after God spoke into existance, the land and every living thing on this earth. I believe then that God took dust from the same earth and formed a human being with his own hands and breathed a breath of life into that being. I believe that he also formed a woman using a rib from the man he first created.
I believe that there is a heaven and a hell. God having dominion over heaven and Satan having dominion over hell. Jesus sits at the right hand side of God, his father. I also believe that Jesus is the ONE and ONLY way to heaven and without him, you will NOT be saved from the judgement of hell.
Now, if you disagree with me, please consider that this is MY personal opinion and I will not force you to believe as I do. I will ask that you just take one thing into mind. If I am wrong and none of this exists or is true then there is also no hell or judgement for me to fear. Nothing bad can or will happen to me. However, if I'm right then all of this does exist and is true and I am also safe as I will spend eternity in the heaven in which I believe. You, on the other hand will have hell and judgement to face. Please make sure you understand this when you choose to believe something other than what I do because it is very much a choice and there may be consequences. Otherwise, believe as you want just be sure you are willing to face whatever may come with that choice.
If you are someone who agrees with my faith please feel free share this journal with your friends and stop by my message board. We are not all Christian but I do enjoy sharing my faith with other believers and we often have Bible studies for those who want to join in.
Also I would like everyone to please check out this page and submit a vote to MSN to show your support. Let the public know what we all believe in.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to post them below. Thank you and God bless.

A woman in Duluth, GA went missing last night while out jogging. Police have brought out dogs and groups have searched all day with no success.
My dog is in training for search and rescue, I being the primary handler and my natural mother being the secondary handler. The dog is currently located in north GA with his alternate handler. She has considered offering our services to help find this woman. This dog is very smart and I know he can find a missing person. He is a born natural. Only one problem. He is still very young and is easily distracted. We need God's help to find this woman! It cannot be done alone.
Please pray that not only will this woman be found but that God will touch my dog and help him focus well and will guide him to find this woman. Also pray that all the other dogs will be touched and the people too. They need all the help they can get. It doesn't have to be one person or dog. This is not about who can be a hero but rather who can work together to save a life that may be in danger.
Thank you so much. Please share this on other forums and web journals. Get this around and have everyone you know pray about this. This is a serious matter and must not be taken lightly.

UPDATE:
The woman was found safe and alive. Praise God for keeping her safe even under the circumstances of her disappearance. Click here to read the article on MSN.

Sunny one day & rainy the next.Hi all,
I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything new in so long. I hope you all enjoyed the lyrics to that song. If you would like to hear the song, you can find it on Carman's Official website.
Work has kept me so busy these last few weeks. I've not even had time to breathe. We sent out almost 4,000 newsletters, over 700 announcement letters, and will send about 1,500 concert invitations out tomorrow. I've been answering letters, making cards, filing things, and posting information in record books for the ministry's finances.
I'm also preparing for the ACT test and trying to save up for my college supplies. My bank has been bought out by SunTrust and my check cards are being cancelled because they sent out new cards for my accounts. This is rough to deal with since I ordered some books online using my old card. Eek! The bank says it won't cause any problems so I guess I'll have to wait and see.
I still have two checks from work to deposit into my accounts and will get another one tomorrow. ROFLOL! I guess it's alright since they are checks and I can't spend any of it but I hate carrying around $300 worth of checks. Haha.
A friend of Mama's has decided to hook me up with one of her co-workers. He's a very nice guy. I talked to him on the phone last night. He lives in north GA, where Mama's friend lives. The funny thing is, I've known this guy for 13 years and I was his girlfriend in elementary school. I really enjoyed talking with him and made plans to go out to dinner with him next time I am up that way. He's gonna treat me to BBQ ribs at this new place in town. I LOVE ribs! I look forward to seeing him again.
That is about all the news I have so far. The only other thing that's been going on is my older half brother has been in the hospital with bacterial pneumonia. Please pray for him to get better.
I've also gotten pictures of a fox that comes out into the back yard at night. Maybe I'll share one on here next time I post an entry. Until then, take care and God bless!

I wanted to share some lyrics to a song that's been on my mind. Later, I will go into more detail about my thoughts on this topic but for now, I'll just share the song. America Again was written and recorded by a wonderful Christian artist known as Carman. All credit goes to him.
But something happened since Jefferson called the Bible the cornerstone for American liberty, then put it in our schools as a light. Or since 'Give me liberty or give me death!' Patrick Henry said, our country was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We eleminated God from the equation of American life, thus eleminating the reason this Nation first began. From beyond the grave I hear the voices of our founding fathers plead, you need God in America, again.
Of the 55 men who formed the Constitution, 52 were active members of their church. Founding fathers like Noah Webster, who wrote the first dictionary, could literally quote the Bible, chapter and verse. James Madison said, 'We've staked our future on our ability to follow the 10 Commandments, with all our heart.' These men believed you couldn't even call yourself an American, if you subvert the Word of God.
In his farewell address, Washington said, 'You can't have national morality apart from Religious principal,' and it's true. Cause right now we have nearly a hundred and fifty thousand kids carrying guns to these warzones we call public schools. In the 40s and 50s student problems were chewing gum and talking, in the 90s, rape and murder were the trend. The only way this nation can even hope to last this decade, is put God in America, again!
The only hope, for America, is Jesus. The only hope, for our country, is Him. If we repent, of our ways, stand firm and say, 'We need God in America, again.'
Abe Lincoln said, 'The philosophy of the schoolroom in one generation, will be the philosophy of government in the next.' So when you eleminate the Word of God from the classroom and politics, you eleminate the nation that Word protects. America is now number one in teen pregnancy and violent crime, number one in illiteracy, drug use, and divorce. Everyday a new holocaust of 5,000 unborn die, while pornography floods our streets like open sewers.
America's dead and dying hand is on the threshold of the Church, while the spirit of Sodom and Gomorrah vex us all. When it gets to the point when people would rather come out of the closet than clean it, it's the sign the judgement of God is gonna fall. If there's ever been a time to rise up Church it's now, and as the blood-bought saints of the living God proclaim. That it's time to sound the alarm from the Church House, to the White House and say, 'We want God, in America, again!' (We need God in America, God in America again).
I believe it's time America to stand up and proclaim, that 'One Nation Under God' is our demand! And send this evil lifestyle back to Satan where it came from, and let the Word of God revive our dying land! For Jesus Christ is coming back again in all His glory, and every eye shall see Him on that day. That's why a new annointing of God's power's comin on us, to boldly tell the World 'You must be saved!' Because astrology won't save you, your horoscope won't save you, the Bible says these things are all a farce. If you're born again you don't need to look to the stars for your answers, cause you can look to the very One who made those stars.
History tells us time and time again, to live like there's no God makes you a fool. If you wanna see kids live right, stop handing out condoms, and start handing out the Word of God in schools!
We need God, in America (We need) God in America We need God, in America again America again.
Sooo sleepy!
We listened to CDs on our trip.

Getting dark.Hi all,
Wow! I had an interesting day yesterday. Last week, I set up an appointment to attend a student visitation tour at Georgia Military College where I will be going this fall. Sign in for the visit was set for 8:15 am on Saturday so Mom, my brothers, and I got up around 4am and left at 5am hoping we could get there on time.
The drive up there was about 4 hours. We stopped once to fill the car up and then later stopped at a McDonald's to get breakfast. (Mom paid for the fuel and I paid for the food.) We were late getting to the college and got a bit lost at first but finally found it. I only missed about 30 min of the program. They were talking about scholarships when we went inside. (My brothers went with me and Mom stayed in the car because she is not able to walk long distances.)
After a little while during the program, they took a 15 min break and I took my brothers back out to Mom so we could check in with her. We made sure she was still comfortable and then we headed back inside for the second part which was question and answer with students and faculty. Once that was over the crowd was divided into 3 groups based on the times of scheduled private meetings with the financial aid office. The groups with later meetings were then taken on a tour of the campus. My brothers and I followed in this group.
During the tour, I was told that lunch was free for everyone so once we found out where the cafeteria was, we rushed back out to Mom and got her to park a little closer so she wouldn't have to walk as far. We had lunch there and talked with several students and staff members. Everyone was very friendly. I LOVE the campus and everyone we met. I can't wait to get started at this place!
My meeting with financial aid was at 2:15 but we had such a long drive home that we decided to cancel and set up another one later. We left the college around 1:30 but one of the front tires on the car was low with air so we stopped to fill it up some. While Jon was putting air in the tire, he looked a little closer and realized why it was going down so much. There was a gash about an inch long on the lower side of the tire. We spent the next 15 min driving carefully around town to find a place that we could buy a new tire. Most places were closed. We finally were referred to a Wal-Mart close by that had a tire place and we spent about an hour and half walking around while they changes both front tires. (You should never just change one front tire. It's best to change them both.)
After the tires were changed, we headed on our way managing to get back toward Macon. Getting to Macon was no problem but somewhere beyond that, we got stuck in traffic. The interstate was slowing down so we decided to get off and drive along highway 41, which runs parallel with I-75. Almost as soon as we got on 41, traffic started slowing down on there. UGH! We got stuck in one area and it took us 3 hours to go 10 miles. We got through that far enough to get back on I-75 and were going really good when it got slowed down again. We stayed in the traffic as far as we could then stopped at a rest area for a while.
When we left the rest area, traffic was not too bad but slowed down yet again. It took about 3 hours to get from where the rest area was to Adel. At that point, I convinced Mom to get off again and try 41 one more time. Thankfully, this time it was clear. We drove along 41 for a long while with several cars following us the whole time. LOL Then, just before Valdosta, we got back on the interstate and about 10 or 15 cars (that had been following us already) got back on with us. It was so funny!
Traffic was fine from that point on. We drove interstate the rest of the way until our exit then we got off and went home. It was after 2am when we got pulled into the drive. We all got in bed as soon as we were inside and then got up this morning at 9:30 to go to church. My pastor's birthday was yesterday and our church had a special lunch for him today. We had lots of food and cake to eat.
After church, we went to Sam's again and headed over to Wal-Mart from there to get groceries. It was after 5pm when we got home today. I had a blast yesterday even despite our troubles. We had a great conversationg all the way home and were laughing at so many things. It was nice to be able to get alone like that even though we were all tired and irritable from riding so long.
Anyway, now I am going to close out and get some rest. I have to work tomorrow and the rest of the week. Plus next weekend will be just as hectic. Good grief! LOL For now, have a safe spring break (if you have it this week) and God bless everyone.
Oh, and don't ever forget, no matter what bad things happen, God will always get you thorough. Just have faith and trust in him. I know for an absolute fact that it was God who helped us see our tire problem before we got on the interstate and had it bust and He helped us get our tires changed. (We only paid $46 for each tire.) He also helped us get through the heavy traffic and helped us all get along well during the whole trip. I will credit Him for everything good that happened yesterday.
Thank you, Lord for being so faithful and may I never stray from the love and protection you give me every day. You are the greatest inspiration and my #1 reason to live. Like the sermon in church this morning, may I be neither cold or luke warm but let me be completely on fire for you, Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

Really nice out today.Hi all,
I am now in Florida. We got here Saturday afternoon and stayed up really late talking. Sunday morning, we got up around 9 to get ready for church. The service was great and I enjoyed seeing everyone again.
Today, Mom went up to Moultrie with our bosses. I don't know what time they will be back. I drove down to the office for a while but the only thing to do is answer the phone and there were no calls so I came back for lunch.
I'm not feeling too well so I haven't gone back down to the office. Since there is so little to do right now I don't see any reason to be there. If I am down there, they will feel like they have to pay me and I really am not going to ask to get paid for today without doing more than sit there waiting for the phone to ring. LOL
Anyway, other than that, there's not much else to write. Tigger and Candy are being themselves. Candy has gotten huge! She's as big as her dad now. I'll have to get some new pics to put up on my site. Will let you know when I get that done.
I am going to go for now. If I feel any better I'll post some more later. If not then check back next weekend.

Nice but cool. Almost spring.Hi all,
I've been pretty busy this weekend. I worked Friday and yesterday. Today I need to clean my room and start packing. I'll be leaving for Florida sometime Wednesday or Thursday, I think.
I have set up a mailing list for both of my sites. It will be a little while before I can get a link up on the personal site but until then I'll post the link on here. Join the mailing list.
I have also added a message board for the fan site. Please go over to the review journal and check it out by following the links.
Friday after work, I went to WalMart to buy ZoeGirl's new CD. They just released their new album titled "Room To Breathe" on March 15. I was expecting to pay over $15 for it but they only charged just over $10! That was so cool for a brand new CD!
I have already picked a favorite song from the new album. All the songs are cool though. The CD is enhanced and they have also changed their website. Go check it out. http://www.zoegirlonline.com
Anyway, there's not much else to say right now. Maybe next weekend, I'll have more to write. Until then, God bless!

I am so tired.

Storms and rain.Hi all,
I worked Friday, Saturday, and today. All three demos were at the same store and it was very slow. I did Slim Fast products first, then Jimmy Dean breakfast products, and today was Bryers Carb Smart Icecream. It was all boring but at least I was able to get through it.
I will be going to Florida for a few months. My mama works for the grandfather of my new God-sister. (Yea, he's kind of like my grandfather too just not genetically related to me.) He is a Christian evangelist and my mama has been his personal secretary for years. Elizabeth's mother has been working for him also but she will need to be home for a while to tend with the new baby. I will be taking her place and helping my mama until the baby is a bit older and my God-mother can work. I was originally going down to FL tomorrow but I have demos next weekend that HAVE to be run so I'm staying until I do those and will be leaving the following week.
I have added a new link on the right side of this journal. You can now view an archive of my tag board. I'll keep it regularly updated as new tags appear. Because I did not start the archive from the beginning, some of the first tags are not available. The archived tags are all text. I have set up links for some of the tags but anything that has already been deleted from the tag board will not have a link. I was also unable to copy any smilies posted on the tag board. I hope you enjoy!
I have finally set up a chat on my website. The chat is located in the VIP area. The VIP area is restricted to members only but anyone can request access. If you would like access to the VIP area just visit the page below and follow the directions given.

A lot of people turn away from Christianity because of the Ten Commandments. I find it very sad that people are against my faith because of one simple little thing that is often misunderstood. Yes, there are rules and regulations as with everything else in life. When does anything ever not have rules? A lot of people argue that God is harsh to have any kind of requirements but so many only see the Ten Commandments and run. You should look a bit closer before turning yourself off just because there are a few rules. My faith is not all about what you should or shouldn’t do. It’s also about unconditional love and what can make us truly happy.
Look at it this way. There are only two sets of commandments that I know of. The first is the Ten Commandments.
Exodus 20:1-17 says:
“1Then God instructed the people as follows:
2"I am the LORD your God, who rescued you from slavery in Egypt.
3"Do not worship any other gods besides me.
4"Do not make idols of any kind, whether in the shape of birds or animals or fish. 5You must never worship or bow down to them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God who will not share your affection with any other god! I do not leave unpunished the sins of those who hate me, but I punish the children for the sins of their parents to the third and fourth generations. 6But I lavish my love on those who love me and obey my commands, even for a thousand generations.
7"Do not misuse the name of the LORD your God. The LORD will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.
8"Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9Six days a week are set apart for your daily duties and regular work, 10but the seventh day is a day of rest dedicated to the LORD your God. On that day no one in your household may do any kind of work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you. 11For in six days the LORD made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; then he rested on the seventh day. That is why the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.
12"Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the LORD your God will give you.
13"Do not murder.
14"Do not commit adultery.
15"Do not steal.
16"Do not testify falsely against your neighbor.
17"Do not covet your neighbor's house. Do not covet your neighbor's wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else your neighbor owns.”
Then there’s mention of the two greatest commandments.
Matthew 22:36-40 says:
“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?" Jesus replied, “`You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: `Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
Now, let’s examine these commandments. I’ll start with the first commandment given in Matthew.
“…Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind…”
Let’s compare this to the commandments given in Exodus. Read verses 3-11 and look at them closely. These verses or commandments are similar to the commandment given in Matthew. If you follow what Jesus said in Matthew then you are automatically following the other commandments in Exodus because if you love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind, then you will not have any other Gods before him, or make idols to worship, neither will you take his name in vain and you will keep the Sabbath day holy. This means that we can narrow down these rules to one simple rule. Matthew 22:36-37
Ok, now let’s move to the second commandment given in Matthew.
“…Love your neighbor as yourself…”
First, I’ll clarify that the term neighbor does not mean just the person you live close to. We are all cohabitants of this Earth, so that makes us all neighbors of each other. This term refers to every person on this planet. Every person you know and meet, even those you are related to. People you like and people you dislike. Every color, every race, both sexes, all ages, etc.
Again, let’s compare this to the remaining commandments in Exodus. Read and study verses 12-17. These commandments are also similar to the one in Matthew. If you love your neighbor as much as you love yourself, then you are going to honor your father and mother, you won’t commit murder or adultery, you won’t steal or say false things about someone, and you won’t covet someone else’s possessions. This means we can also narrow these commandments down to one simple rule. Matthew 22:39-40
Now we have realized that there are only two commandments to follow. There is no worry about the Ten Commandments now because when you follow the two in Matthew, then you are already following the ten mentioned in Exodus. It’s simpler than you thought isn’t it? Christianity doesn’t look so hard now that you see there are really just two rules to follow. The rest is all just inspiration to help us grow spiritually. It’s all fun once you get past the fear of rules. Christianity was never meant to be constricting. The Bible is not supposed to be just a book of rules. It’s anything but that actually.
Please feel free to comment on this topic.

Cool but sunny.Hi all,
My best friend is a member of a forum about chickens. She raises chickens as a hobby and the members of this forum give her advice and ideas when she needs. They have general topics on the forum and sometimes a sensitive subject gets brought up. They then debate which opinion is better and sometimes get into minor arguments.
I am also a member of a forum in which debates come up. I am a person who loves to debate, especially on the most sensitive topics. Some of these subjects run from Abortion to Politics to Animal Cruelty to Religion or Christianity. These debates have given me an idea for my journal.
Since I am a born again Christian and can sometimes be very outspoken about this fact, I almost always jump into these debates and of course end up getting frustrated because so many people have a big misunderstanding of my faith. I have noticed that so many people honestly don't know what real Christianity is or what it truely means to be saved. There are lots of people who claim to be Christians but aren't really as they claim and my faith has been given a bad reputation because of these hypocrits.
I decided that I will start posting entries to discuss different things in hopes to allow people to better understand my faith and show you all that Christianity is nothing like you think it is. Just because someone claims to be a Christian doesn't mean they are. It is never a good idea to base your opinion on something because of someone who made that idea look bad. You should thoroughly examine each idea before writing it off as something you are against. I hope you will keep an open mind about the information I share with you and I hope it helps to you see my faith in a more positive light.

Getting dark. Stars come out.Hi all,
What better way to update my journal than with some great news. My mama found an article and showed it to my brother, who then sent me the link. Here is an exerpt from the article:
"Korn has parted ways with guitarist Brian Head Welch, who has chosen the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior, and will be dedicating his musical pursuits to that end. Korn respects Brian's wishes and hopes he finds the happiness he is searching for."
To read the entire article please see the news page on their website: http://www.korn.com/korn/index.php?newsID=1
Ok, so this may be sad news to all you Korn fans but it's absolutely wonderful news to my fellow Christians. Besides, Korn will find another guitarist. I'm sure of it.
Anyway, Tuesday was the tenth anniversary of my papa's death. I still miss him a lot. It doesn't seem like it's been that long but at the same time it feels like forever. I have lots of good memories of him but I hate to admit that I kind of forgot what he looked like. I can't quite remember what he was like to be around. That makes me kind of sad but I know I'll see him again someday.
So, this weekend, I have demos but I am off next weekend. YAY! I'm gonna start getting ready to take my SAT and then will schedule a visit at Georgia Military College. Once I finish that I will get my application filled out and sent in both to attend the college and for a grant to cover the costs.
My tax refund came in today. I got a total of $192 back this year. I'd say that's pretty good for my first time filing taxes for myself. Well, actually my mama filed them for me. LOL I am going to get her to show me all the ropes during this summer so I can file them myself next year.
Has anyone seen my site lately? I've added some new pages. Check out my new "Virtual Closet" to see me modling some really cool outfits! Just go to my site and follow the link to Personal Pages. Feel free to check out the rest of the site too while you're at it and please sign my guestbook. http://www.whisperoflife.com/LoveLessons
Also, check out my fan site for the coolest band on earth! I have some awsome pics of the guys on a new gallery. You can also read my review journal to find out about recent shows. Both links are located to the right side of this post under "My Other Site/Pages" or you can follow this link. http://www.whisperoflife.com/MusicMakers
MMM, we are having porcupines for dinner tonight. They are very good! Now, before you go wondering what kind of person I am to be eating something so weird, let me explain what it actually is. See it's really simple. Porcupines are just meatballs with rice cooked inside and topped with gravy or tomato sauce. They are to die for! I love them.
So anyway, I'm off to check some other sites and manage my message board. We have lots of fun on there. You should come check us out and register so you can join in the fun. http://caninekelley.hyperboards2.com
Until next weekend-Be safe and God bless!

Stuffy and sneezy. Ugh!
There were cool instruments at youth!
"I Will Celebrate" by Various Artists
Rainy and stormy today.Hi all,
So, I had a boring week. My weekend, though, turned out to be much better.
On Saturday, I ran a demo from 10am to 4pm, giving away samples of some new Kellogg's cereals. Tiger Power and Frosted Mini Wheats Vanilla Cream. Julie called me a "cereal killer". ROFLOL! Even my best friend, Nicki joined in on that.
Anyway, after my demo, Julie drove me down to Nicki's house. I was spending the night there cause Nicki and I were going out with the youth from church. They originally planned to have youth last Saturday but it got rescheduled. I have been trying to go to these things all month but everytime, it seems I have to work. This time I was able to work earlier and get down there.
We got to youth around 6pm and walked around outside. The meeting started about 6:30 and we opened with praise. Some of the songs were ones I knew but most were songs I'd never heard before. I did learn them quickly. We had notebooks with words to all the songs so that was neat. I recognized one of them as soon as I saw the name. "Better Is One Day" I love that song. I have it on a CD. I sang that whole song without having to look at the words. Later we also sang "He Is Exalted" but it too me a few min to realize I knew that one. It wasn't the one by Carman and the words didn't look familiar but once we started singing it, I remembered the song. It's a cool song too.
After praise, we moved on to prayer. Each had a turn to offer things that we needed prayer over. One asked for prayer about getting a new car, the youth leader's wife asked for prayer about pains she'd been having in her side, and I asked for prayer about lots of issues going on at home. We were led in prayer and each of us even said our own prayers as well. Soon we went on to the lesson.
We read several different verses from the New Testament, mostly from the Gospels of Mark, John, and Luke. The stories covered John (the baptist) and Peter (Jesus' disiple). We noted how evertime John encountered the Spirit of God, he was always lifted in spirit and seemed to jump for joy. Even when he was still in his mother's womb and had not yet been born, John lept with the same joy as Jesus' mother, Mary greeted Elizabeth. This was soon after Mary had learned that she would be with child. Neither baby had been born.
We then talked about John being thrown into prison and was later beheaded. We discussed how Jesus must have felt after hearing the news that his cousin had just been killed. We related how each of us would have felt. It is written that Jesus had walked out into wilderness to be alone but a great multitude of people gathered and followed him. Most of us agreed that none of us would have wanted those people around us but then read on to find that instead of turning them away, Jesus insisted on feeding them. It was said to him that the only food available were 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread. Jesus took this and prayed over it, then started breaking each into fair pieces and handed them out. He kept going until all had been fed of both bread and fish and were full.
I am very awed by this reaction to the people who followed Jesus. I am so humbled by the fact that he fed them rather than making them leave. I pray that I would have the strength to be so kind even in such a grieving moment as was this.
Of course, the lesson didn't stop there. We soon talked about what happened later. Once the whole crowd had been fed and entertained, Jesus blessed them and sent them home. He then headed out to be alone and prayed. While he did this, his disiples went out in their boat. They were fishing when a storm come up and they looked up to see someone walking toward them along the rough waves of the water. They were very afraid, saying, "this must be a ghost!" Jesus then addressed them saying not to be afraid for it was he whom they had just been eating with. Peter called out to him saying if this was true he asked to be invited to come out to Jesus. Without hesitation, Jesus said, "come" and Peter obeyed. He walked along the waves to meet Jesus but the waves got worse and he started to worry. He was no longer able to walk and began to sink into the water. He cried out for Jesus to save him and Jesus imediately reached out and took his hand, pulling him up.
We further discussed this thought. We agreed that a lot of people first see the miracle of Jesus walking on the water but we then decided there was yet another part of this story in which was a miracle. When we examined this some more we noticed that Jesus did not wait even a second before pulling Peter out of the water. He didn't allow time for Peter to try to swim or let him become even more afraid. He reached out the very second Peter asked him to. This tells us that walking on the water was just one miracle but indeed there was another to be seen. The very fact that Jesus saved Peter was the miracle we observed. I find that pretty amazing.
So, anyway we talked on that for a while and then finally said a prayer to close the meeting and then headed out to dinner. We went to O' Charley's, which was very busy so we had to wait about an hour before getting a table. There was about 10 of us total. It was so crazy! Two of the guys sitting across from me kept teasing one girl who sat at the end of the table. She was getting so mad at them but later she got back. She had a camera and asked another girl to get a picture of her and the guys. She wrapped her arms around one of the guys' neck and was holding him for the picture. The other girl was ready to take the pic but then her cell phone rang and she had to answer it. The whole time, the guy was just blushing! It was so cute! They did get the picture taken and also took others of the rest of us. I had a hard time deciding what to get but finally picked a combo with steak and ribs. The combo came with a salad and I got french fries as my side. I ate most of my salad, all of my ribs, half my fries, and all but a few bites of the steak. It was so good! I wanted to get something for desert but didn't have enough money. My meal alone came to nearly $15! Eeek!
We got back to the house really late. I think it was almost 12 midnight when we got to bed. Sunday morning we got up around 8am and got dressed for church. Church started around 10 and lasted until after 12pm. We drove to the house to change clothes and then went out for lunch at Captain D's. I got a fish and chicken meal and ate almost all of it except for my cole slaw and one piece of chicken.
When we got back home, Nicki and I watched the movie Garfield. That was so funny! My cat, Tigger is just like Garfield! We hung around the house for a while after the movie and then went out to meet Julie at Waffle House so I could go home. I spent the rest of the afternoon on the computer and then went to bed.
So, that's my weekend. Hope you had just as good a weekend as I did. God bless!
